San Juans is west of the Whatcom County and the city of Bellingham. Only six are accessible by public ferry
of the hundreds of islands that consists of the San Juans. They are a popular tourist destination for boating,
kayakers, and whale watchers. Ferries from Seattle travel through the San Juans up to its journey to Vancouver
Island. From the San Juan Islands you can view the majestic Cascade Mountains.
